Vychung Chongson Managing Partner

Vychung Chongson is one of the founding partners of Chongson & Partners (C&P) and is currently the Managing Partner of the firm. He graduated from The Faculty of Law Catholic University of Parahyangan, Bandung, with a law degree (S.H.) and continued his studies at University of Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, where he obtained a Master of Laws (M.H.) degree. 

Vychung Chongson focuses his main practice on restructuring and bankruptcy issues as well as business litigations and dispute resolution. He has extensive experience in handling complex restructuring and bankruptcy-related transactions for more than 10 years. He also advises on M&A transactions, foreign direct investment, debt restructuring (acting for both creditor and debtor) and as the Receiver or Administrator, industrial relations and general corporate matters. He regularly represented clients which focused on natural resources, mining, and asset investment in Indonesia. He has also reprented clients with civil and criminal litigation, tax issues, included litigation in Tax Court.

Vychung Chongson actively participates in various local and international seminar, workshop and convention on bankruptcy and restructuring issues, mining law, intellectual property law, arbitration, tax, and other corporate matters.

Vychung Chongson is a member of Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia/PERADI), Indonesian Bar Association (Asosiasi Advokat Indonesia/AAI), Indonesian Receivers and Administrators Association (Asosiasi Kurator dan Pengurus Indonesia/AKPI) and Indonesian Tax Bar Association (Ikatan Kuasa Hukum dan Advokat Pajak Indonesia/IKHAPI),  Indonesian Competition Lawyers Association (ICLA/Asosiasi Advokat Persaingan Usaha Indonesia).
